Respoding to the invitation of Bishop George Alencherry and Fr. Sinoj the parish priest of Thuckalay, Sr. Ancilin, the then Regional Superior sent two sisters Sr. Shanthi and Sr. Celi Anto to assist in the activities of Thuckalivilai parish.  They stayed at a rented house near the church from 20th July 2007 onwards and helped in the activities of the parish.  Ozanam House for the Aged was started at Sahaya Nagar near Thuckalivilai in 2009 by St. Vincent De Paul Society of the Latin Diocese of Kottar.  Bishop Peter Remigius the bishop of Kottar requested Sr. Ancilin to send two F.C.C. sisters to serve at Ozanam Old Age Home.  With the permission of the Bishop of Thuckalay and the provincial council of Deva Matha Province, Changanacherry the sisters of Thuckalivilai shifted their residence to Ozanam old age home from 12th July 2009 onwards.  The Bishop of Kottar appointed the vicar of Sahaya Nagar parish to fulfil the spiritual needs of the inmates.  Both men and women are admitted in the centre.  Sisters do all the service needed for the bedridden and the other old persons.  The financial support to this home is met by the Vincent De Paul society of Kottar Diocese.
